Working Abroad again & tranmail v2 launch

Hi everyone.

It's been 6 weeks or so since the last tranfree. Sorry for the delay. I've received a lot of emails from people aking if they have been dumped off the subscriber list, or if they've missed an edition.

It's very heartening and encouraging to hear that many of you missed your tranfree during this period of time. It's nice to be appreciated :)

We're going to try to stick to a 3-weekly schedule from now on, but don't hold me to it. ;)

We've been busy working on some new stuff including the newly released tranmail system...

http://www.translatortips.net/tranmail.html

...which is now an even more complete package than it was.

We went to Poland for Easter and experienced again, the joys and horrors of working away from our home country.

The main feature article in this tranfree follows on from an article written in last August's tranfree where I discussed some of the issues faced when workng in another country away from your base. This time I go into more detail about the kinds of preparations and issues you need to think about before you go.

Enjoy and benefit from tranfree

Alex

    Dear Alex,

I acknowledge receipt of the updated version of "tranmail", as was promised on the day of purchase - thanks. Also thanks for your bright idea to include into the package the FletMail utility -- this should be great help.

    Thanks and regards,

    Nick

Thanks Nick

New Product Launch

Today we launch a new edition of tranmail (version 2)...

http://www.translatortips.net/tranmail.html

...which is our system for emailing your details to 1,999 translation agencies around the world.

What's new about it?

Email addresses change like there's no tomorrow, so in order to grow the list from 1860 to 1999 we had to remove a couple of hundred dead email addresses and add a few hundred new ones.

Also, the most significant change is the addition of a new free bonus. It's an email merge program, which you can use to personalize the emails you send out. It's fully set up to use with tranmail. The idea here is that you get a better response when the emails are sent individually and personally.

But the great thing is, with this package, you don't have to do the old cutting and pasting into your email program for hours on end. You can use this clever software to do all the hard work for you.

This new addition to tranmail, really will save you even more hours of effort.

Not only that, but I've rewritten the tranmail instruction manual, which now consists of two major sections...

  • How to write an email that gets amazing results
  • How to set up and use the email merge software

...both of which will help you to springboard your details in front of hundreds of translation project managers.

10-day 10% Offer

I'm going to Egypt for a week's holiday on Sunday. The price of tranmail will be left at the old price until I get back in 10 days time.

After that I will raise the price 10% to reflect the 10% growth in the size of the list. You can lock into the lower price now by visiting the tranmail page...

  • On the other hand, the French eat a lot of fat and also suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans.
  • The Japanese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans.
  • The Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and also suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans

Conclusion:
Eat & drink what you like. It's speaking English that kills you.
