I would not recommend downloading software and keep using it. That is illegal in the. You can download trial versions to see how it works. Also, when you download, you will only get a trial version, which is not as compatible as the "real thing" and you won't be able to use certain tools, that come with it. I personally use the Trados Freelance Edition, which you can obtain from www.trados.com for $495, it's a special for now. It usually costs around $1200. It is very good software and I like it a lot.
