I read your message only today, so I guess my reply will not be of much use to you...
All of the technical terms you were not sure about should be included in Microsoft's glossaries. Please consider that, as far as Italian is concerned, every customer should usually provide the translator with a suitable glossary. If this is not the case, we should usually refer to Microsoft's standard terms.
I know that, for other languages, there are strict rules about technical terms, but not for Italian. So "variabili separate da virgola" can be a good translation for "comma-separated variables" for one customer, while another may want you to keep the US term, or else use the .CSV term, which is the extension used for this kind of files (database files).
