HI,
I'm from Malaysia. I'm wondering if anyone could help me about being a freelance translator. I've been sending out my cv's to a lot of agencies(using the tranmail list), and I had few replies and all have asked me to fill in the application. I am to afraid to fill them in because I feel I feel that I don't have tertiary qualification, and I only have a diploma which has nothing to do with translation. I've spoken Malay all my life and English too.
I feel really low that I might not get any jobs because:
no insurance
no tertiary qualification
Please help me...anyone!!!!
