I'm working on a translation of short stories by Peter Bichsel, and I'm wondering what sorts of permissions (if any) I need to obtain from the oiriginal publisher to do so.
I'm not sure if I'll be submitting the stories for publication elsewhere, but in the event I do, is there anything I need to sign/have signed, in order to proceed legally without copyright infringement?
