I am considering starting as a Danish/English/Danish translator and my main interest is in the litterary area. I've read a brilliant English book and would like to translate it into Danish. How would I go about that? Do I contact the English publisher first or should I just start translating and then send it to the publisher? Or do I need to be with an agency to do this?
I would appreciate tips and help from anyone outhere.
