Hi,
I live in France and I'll be working as a freelance translator/reviser as from September. I know what translation rates to apply for French into English, and my former boss has advised me to charge 250FF per hour for revisions (mainly scientific articles), but could anyone advise me as to what rates are applied per word for revisions. Indeed, I find it hard to assess how long I'm going to spend on a text.
Besides, does anyone have any tips on finding interpreting work over here? (I have an MA hons in interpreting and translating as well as the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting - Health, I'm completely bilingual in English and French and speak fluent Spanish)
