I need some information on filing taxes with the IRS.
I used to live in the US and file as a resident, but now I moved back to my country and hope to keep working with my US clients. I donīt know what my status would be. I donīt even know if I should file taxes with the IRS at all. My clients contact me and I send the jobs to them via Internet.
My clients fear an IRS audit or something if they donīt report my earnings, so they keep sending the information with my social security number, although I am not a resident anymore. I am not sure this is the way to go. How do agencies usually handle tax issues with their foreign translators?

I would appreciate any information.

Than you
