I have been doing translations for two and a half years in Spain as well as working as and English teacher. I am waiting for my permit to go through, however, it will not allow me to become a freelance translator in Spain. In order to do so I have to apply for another permit that may take ages. I am eager to get started and would like to know if there is any way to bypass this. By the way, I'm originally from the US. Thanks for any help.
