The current version of TRADOS does not work with Word 2K; the new iteration of the software, expected to appear in April, allegedly does work with Word 2K, but be careful -- as all new versions almost certainly contain 'bugs'it may be worthwhile to stay with Word 97 (which does everything Word 2K does without the bugs) and try to get Trados to sell you the Translator's workbench for a reduced price -- they can do it if they want to do it ... was US$495.00 some special offers by individuals offer it for US$ 600.00 (legally) but to pay US$ 1200.00 for something they were just recently offering for US$ 400 or $500.00 is robbery.

: Apologies for the last message, I pressed enter bfore finishing typing. Anyway, my question is, does anyone know whether Trados is compatible with Word 2000? If not, will I have to buy an earlier version of Word or is there a wasy around the problem???
