Having been a freelance translator and now running a translation agency we are always giving price estimates based on the files that can be "grabbed" using Teleport Pro. Our estimate for the client clearly shows that the price is based on the files that we were able to get "normally".
Together with the price estimate the - may-be - client is provided a form containing a lot of questions to be answered by the division or person responsible for the web site contents.
Generally people from the marketing division are asking you for the translation price, people who really don't know the technical background of their company's web site!
