: Hi,

: I'm new to this forum. We are thinking about translating our Asian goods website into European langauges. The most popular ones are of course french, german, spanish and italian.

: We would like to translate into each language one at a time. However, out of those 4 languages I mentioned above, which language do you think we should implement first? And what markets does it capture? (for example, i know french is spoken outside france too, also in coutries like austria)

: And could you suggest other popular european languages that we should not miss out on? e.g. dutch or russian, etc.

: Your feedback would really help us plan better for our website translation project. Thanks

: p.s. we are also looking for freelance translators who can do a good job of translating our website at a very competitive rates. Feel free to email me your services offered and rates.

I think Italian is a very good start, it is also spoken in Switzerland, and Spanish is also very much used in other parts of Europe. I have friends whos first language is German and they say Spanish is much easier than English.
Great to know about your plans, I am a patron, also, I am fluent in Spanish and Portuguese languages and looking for translation work to do. Hope to hear from You.
Good Luck and Best Regards.
