Hi Betina :)

: Are you by chance working on improving this board at all? The way it's currently set up, if a new response is posted to a much older message, no one will see it unless they go hunting (like I just did and found a response posted for me since 04/11/00 that I'd missed).

Actually I have already bought and installed a different system but it is hidden from public view for the time being.

I bet that doesn't surprise you.

But, it needs more work and it's not a high priority issue right now.
The board is really an add-on, rather than the main feature of the site.

I am terribly busy right now - and a higher priority is to implement the changed look to the tranfree archive pages.

I also have a deadline to meet on my next book. On the strength of my first book I have got a contract with a well-known web-publisher to write another book.

When that is all done, the board will be replaced with the new system - which will be much more sophisticated.

If I get some spare time I may boost the schedule forward but I can't promise anything. :(

: PS: Have you noticed that instead of 2000 or 00, dates look like 4/19/100.

Yes but I think everyone knows what it means, after all we are humans with brains rather than dumb computers ;) I doesn't seem worth messing with the code just for vanity's sake.

All the best

Alex
