I just read on Translatortips' newsletter that a
translator, Glenn, did not know what to do when a client
asked for his word-bank.
My solution to a similar problem was publish the list on
the web. I haven't made any money on it, but at least I'm
recognised as an author, which gave me:
1. prestige
2. The opportunity to meet many people who are
interested in my area (business English / Spanish)
So this might be an option for you Glenn's problem. Make
the information so widely available that copying it
won't make any sense. And being credited for your work.
