Hi Jina,
I think what they want is proficiency, not experience. They are asking for experience because experienced people are bound to be proficient. So just submit a sample translation of yours that outlines the best in you - they'll take you if you're just as good as an experienced translator. Much more so if you begin by charging less - this will get you started and you'll become "experienced" and accumulate references before you know it!
