: My question is rather simple : Is it possible to receive the messages of the list directly, without connecting to the site ? I like to take my time reading them off line and maybe giving some thought to an answer. I feel that going through the message on-line is a rather stressfull experience.
This is a message board, which doesn't use the same technology as an email mailing list like LANTRA etc.
It is not currently possible (well it is possible, but would take more time than it is worth to write the program) to make it distribute the messages by email, but if you are using MS Internet Explorer is it possible to "subscribe" to the message board so that, each time you log on it will download the new changes for offline browsing.
To do this choose:
Then, each time you log on it will check if upates have been added.
You need to do this from the main translator-bb index page or else you will not get all the linked messages.
I don't know how to do it in Netscape, but there is probably a similar way.
All the best
