I would suggest scrolling down to some of the other message entitle 'getting started'. Unfortunately being a student in the UK is not experience enough. As a Norwegian national you will most probably only ever be asked to translated into Norwegian. I am not saying your knowledge of English is irrelevant because you nee to have a good grasp of all the nuances of a source language. However, your Norwegian has to also be of degree standard. If you are really serious about this, you will have to obtain some kind of qualification in Translation. I suggest contacting the Institute of Linguists or the Institute of Translating and Interpreting (both based in London).
