Hi, I am new in the forum. I graduated from a Costa Rican university and I have worked here since 2001 as a Translator (this is a new program for the university, and I am the only translator, but I only work with international cooperation projects). After all this long introduction... here are my questions:1. I am trying to get involved in the freelance world because I don't have any experience on that field. If I do a face-to-face contact trying to get some clients... What should I say when I meet them? How do I manage that situation? 2. I am in the "academic field" by accident, but I don't regret it. I just would like to try something else, like translation of books, yes, literature I mean. How can I make some contacts? How I can offer my work in that area? Thanks for all your help!
