I am looking at the possibility of getting certification from an accredited institution. Of course this means a substantial cash investment. My question is, to what extent is certification essential in expanding your customer base? If this is a cross posting, then my apologies.------------------ Hikmat Faraj Translator, Arabic-English-Arabic IP: 170.140.212.112 |

I think that depends a lot on the market you intend to work in.I am Spanish and I know that in Spain it is really hard to work in a field without having the corresponding university degree. My impression is that countries like the UK and the USA are much more flexible in that respect. At any rate I imagine having a professional qualification helps a lot.
