I am based in Germany and interested in doing business with agencies in the UK and Ireland. Having talked to my tax office people about the question of VAT with cross- border business, I got some confusing answers. My question is: Is there a standard phrase or wording that I can/must use in my invoice to notify my customers (agencies) that they need to divert the VAT involved to their respective tax office/department? Thanks in advance.
