Is there any software that is designed to manage all the freelances for a
translation agency? Particularly, it is able to collect every freelance's
work schedule and to sort out the availability of each for taking new jobs.
Thank you for your kind help.

Can you not do something similar with a basic Access or SQL database? Cheaper than buying special software!

But then again, surely your system will only tell you when translators who work exclusively for you are busy? Unless you ask all your freelancers to report their other work to you.

I've seen companies attempt this before, and yet I've never seen this kind of system work efficiently. Translators who are busy won't have time to report to you, and even if you ask people to mail you their availability every morning, say, then that info could be out of date within as little as a few minutes after sending. Not to mention the fact that some freelancers (but by no means all) will object to companies keeping tabs on them in this way...

Sorry, but I can't see a system of this kind working efficiently unless you have a team of translators who work exclusively for you. But I'd be happy for you to prove me wrong!

All the best
