Just read the latest Tranfree. And hats off to Alex! He's put into words my exact thoughts. Sure, there are times when freelancing is a lonely, difficult business. But the pluses outweigh the minuses by a long, long way.And the biggest plus of all is the freedom. The freedom to do more or less what you like (within reason!), the freedom to watch your kids grow up, the freedom to just live your life the way you want to without an employer feeling they've bought your every waking hour because they pay you a salary. Don't know about the rest of you, but that article has put a smile on my face today. Thanks Alex. ------------------ apollo@translatortips.net [This message has been edited by Apollo (edited 20 November 2002).] IP: 62.190.200.32 |
